USB Flash Drive

USB flash drives come in all different color,s shapes and sizes. Starting at 256mb, which is no longer available, up to 8 gigs or even 16 gigs and now the makers of the usb flash drive is coming out with a 32gig drive. USB sticks are also known as jump drives, junk drives, memory sticks and document stick. On a USB flash drive anything can be saved on it, pictures, music, documents and programs. I have a few of them for different parts of my computer and different classes.

Picasa - Editing Photos

Picasa is an awesome program to use. I like it better then photoshop as again it is easier to use and explain how i did something. Cropping and taking out red eye hasnt been easier then it is in this program. Easy to save features, adding pictures and even music is easy too

Google Gmail

Google gmail is very useful and has very easy to use features and layouts I like this email program. I could use this program as it has easier features to send and recieve emails better then hotmail or yahoo email program

Global Positioning System(GPS)

GPS systems are available in most new phones and cars as well as some computers. GPS is for finding where or what road you are on and even how to get away from where you are. OnStar also uses GPS to determine where you are to send help, all by satellite signals and GPS signal from your vehicle. I love using my GPS.

Digital Cameras

Digital cameras are more advanced then a webcam or even a camera on your cell phone. There are many different pizel type cameras. starting at 10 pixels up to 14.7 as far as I have seen. Digital cameras are good for motion pictures and direct person photo's.

Smart Phones

Smart phones are almost like iphones but does not have as much features. Smart phones have many great features like GPS, cell phone and pda features like email, money and business applications. I would like to get myself a smart phone as it is not as costly as an iphone.

Memory Cards

Memory cards are great for saving pictures for viewing on camera or if there is a memory card slot in laptop/computer. Which for a memory card that could be in a cell phone, webcam and even a digital camera.
Everything has a certain amount of memory where a card will add more and also makes storage. Very handy to have.

Google

Google is a useful webpage. Questions I have about my computer I would usually call my brother-in-law and he told me to just search it on google and it will give me more information then he could. I was amazed at the information I was given from Google. If I search something about my computer the search returns a link for me to click and gives me details and step by step information on how to do anything. Very useful.

Facebook

Facebook has been such an impact on my friends and I, reconnecting with them as well as old friends. Having found a site that changes constantly making the site easier to use and navigate. Sending messages and inviting friends to join me and other friends playing card games or café world and make things more interesting then playing the games by myself.
